 Balance Privacy Policy Last updated: October 5, 2026 Balance is a personal finance app developed by Jonathan Salazar. This policy explains what information the app uses and how. 1. Your financial data stays on your phone The accounts, transactions, debts, cards, budgets, goals and other information you enter are stored only on your device. Balance has no servers of its own, does not require an account, and the developer does not receive and cannot see that information. Balance never asks for card numbers, expiry dates, security codes or banking credentials. 2. Notification access (optional) If you turn on payment detection, Balance reads the notifications on your phone to recognize those that look like payments or income (for example, from digital wallets or banking apps) and suggest recording them.
